On the subject of a 1/48 Spitfire I wonder how many remember this early 1/48 diecast kit? It was first released in 1996. If I remember it retailed for about £70 which was a fortune in 96 but I wonder how much a mint one would go for today

Never heard of them before Johnnyboy. But I wish I did. The kit and your work look fantastic.:cool: I wish I had one already built like yours. :)

I wish! No I found them while searching the web, I was trying to find out a bit more about this kit after seeing one on a Auction site, It was included in lot coming up for sale. I have put in a bid now its a case of wait and see.

I do remember Casadio's Griffon Spitfires, and Fw-190A very well...and their price tag too ! :eek:
There were some on ebay last year, as well as the less exclusive Revell 1/48 Me-109E, and Spitfire V metal kits.
