Still been painting our little aviation museum all week, and therefore managed to catch some quite exotic stuff (for the IOM), but not a patch on Mildenhall! :(

This WestAir Luxembourg ATP LX-WAL departs for Cologne after a month long c-check. It was back the next morning feeling poorly! The ATP can look quite attractive from some angles?

Hawk XX175 of 208 Sqdn from Valley carries out another practice diversion.

King Air G-RAFP from 45 Sqdn at Cranwell overshoots after some circuit work. ZK456 is allocated but not yet worn.

Hawk XX169 of 19 Sqdn from Valley overshoots after a late afternoon PD. For the technical buffs amongst you, it was so dull by then that this photo was taken at ISO 800, at 400th sec. Thank goodness for the noise reduction software!:D

And this was why I was waiting in such dull and wet weather - first charter flight of the season - 9H-AEJ of Air Malta - nice lighting effect, thank goodness!

Sunny again on the Thursday, and Islander ZG844 from Aldergrove came for some circuit work, but landed on one engine. Here it is taxiing out later.

I had everything crossed that they would send something interesting to fix ZG844, and bless them they did.:D First visit by this version of the Defender, and it is ZG995. The pilot didn't want any photos taken of it, but there was quite a camera toting audience by the time it departed.

Here is ZG995 taxiing out for departure. The sun angle highlights all the mods.

Later that day another 'first', this time by this very plain French Air Force Dassault 50, F-RAFI cn.5 from ETEC 00.065. Came to sign a tax agreement.

Another new aircraft was the latest Let 410 to join local airline Manx2. The operating airline is actually VanAir, which gives rise to some 'white van man' remarks!

And finishing off the week was "Jester Formation" from Valley - 19 Sqdn Hawks XX218 and XX247. Always difficult trying to focus on a two-ship formation - the autofocus point is between them, and usually goes haywire - so this time I stayed with one aircraft and hoped that the other was in shot - XX247 wasn't, so the wheels and part of the tailplane are all my own photoshop work!:D
