Thank god its not that blo*dy Autair Herald that took three plus hours to get from London to Renfrew in the late sixties... By the time they handed the sarnis round, the crusts were curly... (open food in those days..) Only plane I have ever upchucked on... Jeremy Clarkson - F 15 / Agent X20 - HP Herald.....

Great, fits on the drive. Cleared with the neighbours. Whizzo. See bank tomorrow. All systems go. Should be in the bag for under 2k.
....except one small problem. Mrs G/B says "get that and you get a divorce"
Bu**er, Bu**er, Bu**er! What's it like being single??
and be a great place to put my collection of safety cards and sick bags.

never mind, would've been a great place to stash your models! I can just see my new neighbours faces as its hoisted by crane over their garden in to mine..hmmm..
well looking at the questions asked by potential bidders it looks like its attracted more sensible people than the Vulcan!!

The thing is I was being serious about this. Estimated 2k-2.5k to cover it. And Mrs G/B has stamped on the plan from a great height. There's 5k+ (at lowest attainable price).of AA's upstairs so wouldn't take long to get money back. Just needed short term loan. Didn't need shifting yet. And if Mrs G/B wouldn't have it on the drive (it would have fitted no problem, and no cranes) Was considering to negotiate with various places to keep so people could view. Classic piece of history. Just hope it goes to a good home. Bl**dy wimmin!!.........Again.

Could have had yer own little Corgi kiosk....
Can see why Mrs G/B objected.. Mrs Agent would have had no objections (apart from nowhere to put it..) she would have been back on the Bay looking for a pair of Darts, some wings and a tail and would then have told yours truly to fly away..:D
