Aircraft Camouflage And Markings 1907-1954.. the one that i aquired from e-bay is the 1966 edition, with the original print being in 1957. Its an interesting read, with B&W and Colour drawings and photos to illustrate the text. I found it very readable and helped pass a particularly quiet nightshift recently... an additional bonus is that if you have any friends who have overstayed their welcome you can always dazzle (bore?!!) them with interesting facts about varying roundel sizes and location, until such time they take the hint and go home! :D did you know, for instance that the yellow stripe on the leading edge of the wing denoted a Fighter, and it should be 6 inches wide!! As I said the books been out for years so I expect our more senior members (Agent and Albert) have probably dipped in to it and can comment on the accuracy or otherwise.. anyway, its not expensive, worth a look if you see a cheap-un.
