Two unexpected arrivals at Corgi Field were photographed the other day. One was seen at the hangar, while the other was parked at the air freight terminal.
The wife is growing increasingly suspicious of these "unexpected" arrivals...

Nice Bob. Fassberg still looks good, considering Corgis first AA release.
Air Atlantique 20 minutes away at Coventry (Think Miami old days) Prop City.
Why we have not had DC6 in this scheme, be excellent first issue. That red truck though, looks a bit French to me? Peugot?

Thanks, Goony, and I agree: the C-47A looks very nice in person. It, and the Air Atlantique Dakota, sort of just dropped into my lap, as it were.
The red truck is a 1955 International Metro Delivery Van, and is in United Airlines markings. There's a gray one somewhere on the field with "United" in blue....can't spot him at present. Probably chasing down air freight waybills for more shipments of Newcastle Brown Ale..... :D

I knew it! I just knew when I posted the photos of the Daks that I'd be reminded of the forthcoming - and chiseled in stone (according to some) -Constellation gathering at Corgi Field in March.... :D

Is that when Mrs Bob takes her vacation - so you wont be caught juggling five Connies in your den... :D

Strange thing Ed, but one looked like it was in Utterly Butterly livery complete with "trimmings" ... but that may be the Rolling Rock effect ... starting to hallucinate! An infusion of "Newky Brown" would help but Corgi Field is out of range. :(
