Chris came from London and his wife came over from Malta, and together, with mrs. Dutchie, we 4 did a few days Holland, highlighting the RNLAF Open Days at Volkel Airbase in the South of the Netherlands.......
Chris really "went" DUTCH:D :D :D:LOL:

Show in Holland opened with 14 ....F-16's....taking off in full afterburner (one by one)....forming a formation and pass by... Long ago we saw this happen !!!:) :cool: :)

But the real HIGHLIGHT was The Avro Vulcan XH558.:)
And what an honour it was, to fly a Dutch Hawker Hunter and the Dutch Orange Demo F-16 together with the Vulcan in formation. It was an emotional moment !!!

Most friendly enthusiasts of the "Vulcan to the sky" sold nice things.
I bought a souvenir XH558....scale fits to the box.....Corgi Vulcan:cool:
Very nice the Netherlands had the first outside UK performance of the Vulcan.:cool:

Not because it is one of ours:D :D :D :D :D
but I've never seen a nicer scheme than the Orange Lion on the Dutch F-16:cool: Can imagine that all brands fight to do this one in 1:72:eek: :)
