Those of you who build kits and like 1/144 scale may have some interest in looking into Sweet Models Web site. This is a Japanese injection-molded plastic kit company whose products are taken very seriously by the plastic kit crowd despite the comic book character of their box art.
These photos are from the Web site, below, and yes, these are 1/144.

Suggested many a time that Corgi should do a basic camo Spit/Hurri and give us a sheet of transfers..
Looks like they put some 1/72's to shame..!!

Well all I can say is, SWEET! :D
Actually seen the Hurricane kit at the local shop, but put off a bit by the price.
Is this your work Bob? Very nice stuff! Sumpthin' tells me the little antenna and wires on the Martlet ain't part of the kit though. ;)

1/144th? That's superb work Bob, I'm sure many here would like to get that sort of detail in 1/48 or 1/72! :)

Thanks for the (misplaced) compliments, gentlemen - you're all much too kind - but I simply pilfered these photos from the Sweet Web site. Haven't built any of them myself as of yet. (Still caught up in a 1/144 Consolidated OA-10A Catalina.....)

 Not yours?! Ah well I'm sure they'd still turn out the same if they were! We await the pics of your OA-10A Catalina once complete! ;)

Strange race the Japanese! They go to all that trouble to make these models accurate in every possible way-and they are-they're gorgeous pieces, but why oh why have they got "cats crew" in the boxes with them?!! Am I missing something here?

Have seen all these, but think they only make about three types and patiently waiting for this range to expand.

I have several of these kits of fighter sized planes (and helicopters) in 1:144 and on the whole I am fairly pleased with them. May I also suggest the F-Toys JMSDF Sea King, Popy Projekt Flieger, Dragon Can-do Stukas, Bandai Wing Club and Takara planes. I know a UK website that sells these at around the £5-7 or so aswell as lots of 1:144 tanks. Since we aren't allowed to do advertising you shall have to contact me for it though you may know it already.

Ozmods (Australia) also do some pretty fine 1/144 plastic models for those interested.
Note to Mr Orange, Ozmods are a manufacturer not a retailer! Am I forgiven?
