I usually collect 1/72 Corgi Mosquitoes and Lancs but I really want a 1/32 "Battle Scarred" Spitfire #33902. I know they are sold out and pretty rare but I am hoping there is one out there for me. A dealer in the UK (I am in the US) said he had a second hand one with a couple of issues but the cost including shipping was $300+. Can anyone point me in a better direction? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Kenb,The Brain lane Spit is'nt that hard to find but as you are now aware only available on the second hand market, regards price well my friend i recall paying £110.00 inc p+p Sterling at the time but at a slighty higher orig/retail. but nether the less she is mint and still has the Corgi plastic packing strip around her engine cowlings, and in that time have seen them go on ebay starting around the £150.00+ mark and even buy it now upto £280.00 witch left me feeling quite chuffed, but then again it was only a short time ago i was watching one on ebay again mint no faults or floors and went for a jaw dropping £85.00 quid mate, so for me i would maybe have another re-think! over the offer that will mark you up at $300 Bucks maybe find out what is actualey wrong with it and see if he will drop in price no harm in asking hey! or spend a little time on ebay as all good things come to those who wait regards David.

Sorry to say that for a Lane unless you're very lucky/patient you're going to have to pay for it, they've become very sought after.

If I had to choose just one 1/32 Spitfire, it would be the Brian Lane version. Mine has been on display since day 1
