STUNNING!! :cool: Nice touch on the u/c doors too. Is the polished metal actually the metal of the model polished bright or is it some sort of applied finish like a foil? Oh yes . . . one other thing . . . where did you get the standing RAF figures from?

Superb David! :cool One I had considered, now I don't have too. ;) Aeroclub prop? Used one on my 111 Sqn pre-war Hurri but have since picked up a few PJ Prod Watts props and have to say they are better. May be a replacement pending. Not a knock on your proto though, that is just excellent. Did you use BMF?

Anyway, Graham may be right - have to elevate my game... ;) :D

I was afraid you may say that. I picked up a 'recent' set that is pure carp. Flashing and warping that is far less than ideal, I'm afraid. Yup -- the box says Airfix, alright. Big difference from the original set I had back in the late 60's where the figures were crisp and superbly detailed. Pity they went missing during a move.
