2 models built simultaneously over the past few days....both from the same Heller 1/72 kit of the Arado Ar96B...the first of which modified to resemble the prototype of the a/c while the second depicting an 'under new management' scheme....Air Min 120
Much info derived from the literature shown in the first pic which also comes with a set of 1/72 decals for a dozen a/c (quite handy to have)
Paint used....for Air Min 120....RLM 70 and RLM 71 for the upperside camo (which continues over the leading edge), Hu 65 undersides, and Hu 30 for patches applied over the swazis, balkenkreuz and original insignia (Vallejo Gunship Green is a suitable replacement for Hu 30)
....for the prototype....mixed Revell Aluminium (1 part) with RLM 76 (x2) + RLM 02 (x2)
the latter still requires a faired tailwheel addition that needs to be sourced and replaced at a later stage
