You single-engine fighter jocks with your grey Spitfires and blue Hurricanes will have to take a back seat to the 2006 Aviation Archive Collectors Club model. I give you......the Dutch Dakota. Now we're talking real colour! ;) :D

Inside sources at Corgi have confided it will first be released in 1/72 scale and on Raff's birthday...... :D

Reliable sources indicate the model will not only have optional position landing gear, Agent, but optional position engines as well..... :D

Lets ALL vote this for the Corgi Club model 2006!!! :D

Good suggestion, CFBC, but does this proposed model meet all the criteria?

a. Civil/military "crossover"?
b. Made from existing mold?
c. Single overall color to minimize production expense?
d. Single markings color for one-pass tampo printing?
e. A monochromatic color scheme which will incite forum controversy as to the correct shade, tint, and hue?
f. A model which could fetch £££ from AA Collectors Club members well above the most inflated egad!Bay rates?
g. A model which can be made more inexpensively by deleting certain superfluous features not required by the masses, such as engines, for example.
h. A model which would be a concession to all the lost souls in 1/144land.

Only after we ask ourselves these searching questions will we have the definitive answer....... ;) :D

Ok, you have a point there B/S, however... I do feel it would sell and in 1yr double your money...... :D

As did the Blue Hurricane (if yer sell yours) and will do the Grey Spitfire.....

More to the point.... I am not sure about it being from existing tooling.... :(

The answer to this is easy, then, CFBC: Corgi would have to release it in the monly 1/144 scale.... :D

Rather have the Connie!
Do the dak in green and you wouldn't have to worry about the mold! :D
Us typically reserved brits rather keep to the plain gray types

Instead of "Holland" plastered all over it, howabout the name of a certain mobile phone company of a similar shade? It worked with the Eddie Stobart Dak which is the only one holding onto to full RRP.
