I was determined not to buy a 1/32nd Spitfire but after looking at the various models available I am really tempted. I wonder which one I should go for first? I am not at all keen on the new working range thingy with the bits on the stand so, what would you go for? Recommendations Please! :)

I'd go for the Dougie Bader Spit. Probably a good investment :)

You state 'first'.. which means that you are likely to buy more than one... if that is the case shop around and pick them off one by one, they are all good, there are no bozos...

I bought all 4 at around half RRP except for the Brian Lane, which was £60, and then I won two more on eBay!!! Have pre-ordered the US Special Spit of George 'Grumpy' Unwin too. :)

It is a superb model one of my Fav's but with the 1:32's it is very much a case of 1 of each type!!!

Yeah, likewise 58, problem is I can only at present display two or have room for the two.... Take-up so much room, but they are excellent.... :D

Al Deere's 'Kiwi' is nice, but if you get Brian Lane's then 'Grumpy Unwin's can keep it company, you'll get some nice figures and the Squadron's dog too!
