Does anyone know if there's ever been any talk consideration of Bi Planes in 1/32? I think the potential for detail with rigging and engines etc could be superb. Needn't just be Millitary types either. I'm thinking they'd make cracking display pieces. Any thoughts?

It is true that there would be more chance for detail though no guarantee that it would be there in the larger scale. Personally I like the 1/48 scale for WW 1. Some of the WW I bombers would be big even in 1/48 scale. I'd like to see some of those.

Now you're talking!! 1/32 Swordfish would be gorgeous, or a Sopwith Camel perhaps? Hawker springs to mind too, they made some beauties like the Nimrod.

Tiger Moth seems to be the obvious. Look at the old Matchbox kit. RAF/RCAF, Civil, open cockpit, enclosed cockpit, wheels, skis etc:)

Was forgetting about the Moth, that would be the best choice for sure, but I'd still prefer a Stringbag.

Yep I had thought of a Tiger Moth too. Beauty of this scale for Bi planes is they still wouldn't be that big(smaller than Spits and Hurris and P51's) and there's civil and Millitary possibilities!!
