Hi all. I'm still looking for Corgi's Nine O Nine. Funny thing is they made 1580 of them and I know that they didn't sell out but where the hell have they all gone to??? Anyone know where I can get one, I'm trying to complete my 91st BG and need this one.
TIA.:)

You may get lucky if one appears on E-bay with the Perry Estate auction.

I sold mine on evilbay a few weeks ago, though the postage to the USA would've been astronomical!

Thanks fellas. I just don't think there are that many of us out there to sell out 1580 of them. We are a select breed.

You may have to hunt around for a while but persistence is the key.....
I remember that they didn't hang around very long in the UK. I really treasure my one......

I guess I'll just have to do w/o if I have to pay that kind of ching. I did find Mount N Ride for $90 US free shipping. So I took it!:)

last one on Ebay here did £123.00! The other scarce Corgi B17 is the Zoot Suiters example which does not surface very often! Interesting because Corgi on the box described it as being based at Horsham whereas it was actually based at Horham (in Suffolk) not far from here:)

There must be someone or somewhere where one could find this Nine O Nine????? Like I said, it just seems like they made plenty for hardly any to show up and when they do to be so pricey. I can get an Admiral Prune for $300 US, which I would get before Nine O Nine. But I thought after getting the Mount N Ride and compared it with Tricatus' pictures that I really liked the more brown compared to the green.

Gonna have to pay attention next time I come across Lancasters at £15..:)

If you come across a Prune for even 100 BSP isn't that a deal? The last few I've seen on the US ebay went for $200 plus:)

It's my own 'Prune' experience which makes me hopeful that you may find a '9-0-9'. I really, honestly had all but given up hope last year when 'Prunes' started selling on evilbay for £150+. But then, after watching for nearly six months and bidding on several models, I 'sniped' a perfect one for £82.
There's no doubt in my mind that '9-0-9' is one of the very best Corgi B-17s ( those red flashes give it that little something extra - it looks very  ).
Leave no stone unturned and I'm sure you'll get one !

Think he's happy to post abroad.. for whatever the cost is..
As an aside, on this 909 malarky, I trust 'you lot' have been in touch with all the usual suspects.. i.e the forum 'sponsors' and the likes of Mr Spock, Mr Oddie et al..??

AKAIK 9-0-9 now holds the Ebay US record for a Corgi B-17, $424 just before Christmas:wacko:
there was one listed over the weekend on Ebay US for a BIN of $299 & until 4 months ago Aikens in the US had a couple left in stock.
Believe me all 1580 are sold but its only a matter of time before you strike one or someone wants to part with theirs and will hopefully send you a PM.
I've bought 2, kept one & sold one locally - back when someone had these & BoL nice & cheap on the 'Bay for $70 a pop;)

Thanks, Kelly

I saw that, they're crazy! I'm not paying $300 plus $45 for shipping in the US. I'll wait and maybe one day find one at a Tuesday Morning's, if I'm lucky enough. I would rather spend that $300 on a bunch of aircraft I don't have yet. :D

I called this place in Oregon which just held an estate sale and they had 30,000+ diecast, they listed them and of course the sale was last sunday. They had the B-17's I wanted, BOL, 9O9, & SJ. But now I get to watch ebay and see what they'll go for.:(

I hope that the 30,000+ diecasts were not from the one estate sale. No wonder he was killed, I mean died! Jurys out.
Hang in there Ab, just keep scanning E-Bay, you're one is coming up soon! Trust me!
