... save time.... ground vehicles.. some figures for us to paint*.. these they must have made once upon a while ago...??
* Corgi's handpaintin leaves a lot to be desired.... nice little figure set, few paints and brushes.. keep a few of us old farts occupied... :D

From one old **** to another Agent X20,reckon figure painting would be a good idea,if the old eyes stayed in focus. :)

I think if there is a let down with the 1/32's, it is the ****** awful figureines...IMHO they should they should be firstly removeable and let those that want paint them do so.. either be metal or a hard plastic, none of this polypropelene stuff :D And for those who dont want to paint.... sell the pilot figures painted seperately.. another alternative Marketing Idea.. Hi Chaps
Glad someone has bought this 'figures' thing up. I've been trying to 'winkle' out the awfully painted figure from my 'Old Crow' for a re-paint.
What the b***dy hell do they put them in with?
I can only summise that 'Bud' Anderson esq. has something like a 1" x 8 gauge screw up his bottom to keep him secure! or does someone know different?
Dave.

Nice as they are, surely the answer to the question is "Don't make anymore".
I have a mate who has collected them all, and although not paid RRP for them, he certainly has not paid dump bin prices either, yet they are all in the Loft, as he does not have the room to display them.

This would be the sensible option . knowing Corgi they will announce an increase of models for 2006 . We need far bigger bins !!

Try immersing the figure/cockpit area in hot water. They are superglued in and should detach once they are heated. :)

Would it be much different in 'mass' to a 1:32 Mossie????? :o That would be a real big 'up yours' to some of the other Makers!!! C'mon Corgi....just re-align your RRP's then job done!

Suppose if we are going to have a large Vulcan it would be best that Corgi do a 1/72 one rather than Armor... However Armors would be 1/48th and have the same RRP as the Corgi 1/72 one..! :D

Once Corgi committed to the bigger stuff I kept waiting for a 1:72 Vulcan seeing as it was such a success at 1:144 but it goes on the ever growing
' mystery list ' . Personally I reckon UML got a plant into Corgi ( and I don't mean a Yukka Tree ) at a high level and led them in totally the wrong direction .

i must agree that it would be a good idea if the pilot was removable, but i'm a bit bobbins at painting, so would have to leave that to corgi.
lets re introduce the certificates. i know if i spend that kind of money on a large scale a/c then i want my mones worth, and i want to have a little history behind the a/c.
if those companies who are commissioning models can have certificates, why cant we?
oh dear.... here we go again with the certificate argument. sorry.

1. Less plastic, more metal.
2. Lower RRPs.
3. Wider choice of colour schemes. All the Spitfires and Hurricanes are green/brown camo so far. It would be nice to see some grey/green camo versions.

Agent do pay attention - this is the 1/32nd scale thread and he's right!
The reason is that this Spit is an early mark, which were mostly green/brown camo and grey'green came later. Don't worry Grey/green Spits coming up..... :D

A couple of jets ,how about a Hawk and a Lightning. Sorry, no 1/32 scale jets planned at present. Too busy keeping the 1/72 and 1/144th collectors happy! :D

They look pretty however are to expensive and large to collect as a range. Would rather they concentrated on what they were good at which is the 1/72 and 1/44th range.

Totally agree.....just think of how many more toolings we could have had in 1/72 & 1/44 for the cost of the 1/32's. Sigh....
