Not see any gap for me, a great model.

A fair point, don't know why a mechanism like the Corgi Tornado can't be employed. It looks a nice model, but this is an issue that really ought to be sorted, especially as the RRP's I've seen suggest that while reasonable, it 'aint cheap...

the potential longevity of this mould from HM's perspective that it is in their interest as well as ours that the issue be sorted. Have been quoted sub £45 by my usual supplier which whilst not cheap still represents good value against some Corgi RRPs for what is going to be a substantial piece of diecast.
Have pre-ordered the first and will judge then whether I buy more.
Would dearly love an LN model-remember the Mildenhall Airfete after the Libyan Raid when four F111s flew over in formation with a KC135 whilst the taxiways were dotted with base police cars with the occupants sitting (four up) with automatic weapons in their laps!

Or better still, a UH. Remember my Uncle ringing me up to tell me he had just heard a lot of the F111s taking off and he thought something was happening. The next morning hearing about the raid on the TV.
What really annoyed me at the time was my ATC camp to Cyprus getting getting canceled!

I'll see that you tell about the gap,I'll look to my f111 hasegawa model and I'll don't see a gap!
You are right HM must solve this problem.
But the model look very cool despite the gap.

I think it's just the angle of the photo. The "plan view" shot looks central and it is only the pre pro. The model on display at Duxford looked very good indeed. :)

Glad to hear that it was fine in the flesh wingco, but from the pics on HMC's site, even allowing for angling of camera, and there's not a lot, it looks off to me:

May be just the way the the person who put the u/c on..?? We have all struggled at some point with a model to get the u/c in the right place and right angle...? (or is that just me..??)
Any hoo, looks like a future addition to my collection judging by these pics, although like many UK collectors, mine will have LN or UH on the tail....;)

Agreed, a 48th TFW F-111F and a Heyford Sparkvark in the future.

Aye, quite possible tc, hope so.
Anyone know if the Oz version is to have the correct longer wing span?
