interesting 3 lots of decals appeared on evilbay.. BAF (yellow and blue scheme) Viscount, LHR Apprentice trng Comet and QANTAS Sandringham.. all for Corgi AA's that never reached production... shame about the BAF as I think thats a nicer scheme than the later one they released..

Interesting... the Viscount would be nice.. the Comet, personally would prefer a 'working' airliner and the Sandringham, well a shame but there are certainly others that Corgi could and should have produced.. :D

yes the Comet wasnt one that would've sprung to mind when thinking up schemes to produce.. perhaps we'll see some more from the 'what might have been' box.. wonder what was planned for the 1-11 line...

How many time have we asked for a Sandringham?
Just checked comet decals , but fag packet scheme! Would have wanted gold speedbird c.1970.
Baf not bothered as too many more visually exciting schemes first.
Any one notice BOAC 144th Strat decals for silver or white tail scheme (from someone else.)
mmmmmmmmm Court Line mmmmmmmmmmmmm
So "Carry on Dreaming"

Yes, these are all mine...Corgis that were never done...nice idea at the time! These decals are UNIQUE and you will not find them anywhere else! Interesting I stopped Corgi doing the BA Apprentice Training Comet, after I informed them they would have top leave the stand out, as it never moved an inch in that scheme!!! :o

Right decision Agent! Comet was replaced by BOAC polished version, BAF Viscount changed for the later scheme as in Brooklands Museum and better to stick with Sundland tooling than convert to a Sandringham.

Nice to hear from you again. On the subject of 'Even the Queen Loves Corgi's,' I doubt the good lady would be very amused were she a collector of AA's!!............. ;)
