Just did a little Googling and indeed it is going to be a big 'un. Might make a nice garden ornament uh? A talking point for the neighbours (until someone lifts it of course!)

Yeah just suprised they can produce a new mould in that scale for £25.. which is less than a corgi re-hash of an existing 1/72 Spitfire??! :D :p yeah yeah its plastic, . and of course the box isnt as nice.. and the trouble with going that big the details need to be spot on (the cockpit ??!) :D
had a look at their website.. not all that clear really about what scale their WW2 a/c range is... they also a list a CHiPS Motorcycle cop figure, unfortunately no longer available - wonder if it was John or Ponch !! :D

Yer talkin America here... where everthin is bigger.... F104... yeah baby..
Wait till their next release a 1:18 Me 110...... that'll get all the (Luftwaffe) freaks going..
Personally I like em and the excitment of their model range just shows you how Corgi are basically pi***ng into the wind....
(Come to thinking that even at £8 in the bins, if the numbers have gone through the books they are still making a lot of dosh..)
Catch a falling Starfighter
put it in the pocket of your jeans
you can use it as a cigarette lighter
or as an opener for a can of beans.
Catch a falling Starfighter
shine it up and wear it on a chain
you will find that it will be much brighter
if you empty out its contents
down the drain.

I might buy one providing I can see it first and it's not too toy like.
Very good choice of subject......

the large F104 has plenty of detail for a prebuilt/painted model.
**************** has photos.
I have their spitfire, corsair, P-51 and P-38.
I also hear they are releasing a 1/18 douglas dauntless, nice!

" AREA-21 Interviews Master Modeler Roy Sutherland
9/6/05
Many fans have been patiently awaiting our interview with Roy Sutherland from 21st Century Toys Inc. We caught up with Roy a few weeks back, armed with our own questions and few others direct from the ever popular message board and collecting community: Small Scale HQ. (formally know as Ground Pounders) we asked and Roy answered! I wanted to personally thank the fans who contributed to this interview and especially to 21st Century Toys for allowing us the opportunity to have a peek into the world of war toys!
Area 21: We’re talking with Roy Sutherland, master modeler with 21st Century Toys. Thanks for taking time to indulge us in this interview, Roy.
Roy Sutherland: It’s my pleasure.
Most recently I was really excited to find out that you had just published a new book. Modelling the British Mosquito has just been released by Osprey Publishing. What can you tell us about this book?
RS: Oh, well thank you. I actually started this book about two and a half years ago, before I even started with 21st Century Toys. It’s been a real labor of love. The Mosquito is an airplane that I have been extremely fond of my entire life. My dad was in the RAF and flew Lancaster Bombers, so I have a particular affection for British airplanes. The book was just released and should be hitting the shelves just about now. I’m pretty proud of it. It’s something I’ve put a lot of love and hard work into. For anyone who is interested in learning more about the Mosquito, I would definitely invite them to check it out.
Area 21: I’m definitely going to look for that. I’m excited to see it. With all of your experience with the Mosquito, with it being one of your favorite subjects, is there a chance that we might see a Mosquito in the near future in 1:18 or 1:32 scale?
RS: [laugh] Wouldn’t you like to know?
Area 21: [laugh]
RS: Um, it’s a possibility. It’s certainly on the list of aircraft to be considered. Of course, given the nature of this business, tipping our hand on what we’re doing is a never a good idea. But you can always watch the fan site and you’ll be the first to know when new stuff is announced.
Area 21: Oh okay. Fair enough.
RS: [laugh]

With their current production, it has to be a likely suspect.. that and a Hurricane.. kinda evens out the forces... they all follow the same game plan when it comes to WW2..
