received two Corgi 1:32nds this week both good prices via evilbay. First the Al Deere Spitfire KL-B. Was a little unsure about this one until I got it (I am collecting aces aeroplanes) and I like it a lot. One of the things that caught my eye was the stencil detail which really makes a difference - nice touch and well researched. Now, today, I received Old Crow and was quite surprised at the total lack of stencil detail on this. I know Mustangs were heavily stencilled (and I've seen some of the recently restored 1:1 D models which are laden with such markings) so this came as a bit of a disappointment. This makes three out of the four D's - guess I should go after Stinger; anyone know if it is 'stencilled up'? Has this been covered elsewhere in the forum?

Should have looked on the tricatus site before I posted. I see Stinger is devoid of such goodies.....perhaps I should do my own?

W/B.... The Stinger is not a lot differant to the other Mustangs released by Corgi, in fact one of the less appealing releases by them and the prices reflect this also..... Having said that.... At present, it's a bargain..... :)

Worth a look
