If Century Wings would make a EA-6B Prowler in 1/72th, would you buy one?? Since the Prowler is soon to be no more and replaced by the EA-18 Growler, I would like to see the Prowler immortalized in diecast to add to my USN collection.

I cant understand why CW didnt make the Prowler as a followup of the A-6. Lots of collectors will surely buy it if ever CW decides to built one since the A-6 is well beloved.....just see how smart HM does....first...introducing the F-111....and speedily followed up with an EF-111 raven...which is a very smart move....:D

If CW really wanted to exploit the 78' Nimitz and Final Countdown theme and at the same time make tons of money doing it, they would roll out:

RA-5C Vigilante(600 RVAH-6 Fluers)
EA-6B Prowler (610 VAQ-135 Black Ravens)
S-3A Vicking (700 VS-24 Scouts)
E-2B Hawkeye (010 VAW-112 Golden Hawks)
C-1A Trader (68 Carrier Onboard Delivery)
and the cherry on top of it all
SH-3H Seaking (730 HS-9 Sea Griffins)

that is of course if they were super smart, wanted to make loads of money, and please ALL their customers without shorting out their American Market.

So thats my challenge to CW, lets see if they've got what it takes to step up.

I have US Navy and Marines Intruders. I'd get a Prowler, question is, when will they release one???

This is the problem for me too. If they'd done the Prowler straight after the Intruder I'd almost certainly have got one, but since then CW's prices have gone way beyond what I'm prepared to pay.:(

A CW version of this VAQ-135 "Black Ravens" Prowler would go well with all the other Nimitz Cruise aircraft :cool

As far as i can see the only problem is that we're all going on the supposition that CW will be making a mould for a new aircraft. The evidence at the moment would suggest they are quite happy to relie on the moulds they currently have and just churn out different schemes.
