In the existing 1/32nd range out of the four 109's available nothing really inspires me to buy (at the current prices anyway) although the Hartmann might tempt me later. Question is what would light your fires in this range?

Somehow I think Corgi missed a trick by going for the 'G' in 1/32  - a BofB 'E' would have been much more interesting..... :(

you want Black 6 Charley? :D :D I have to say I agree with the comment made earlier - the Emil may have been a better starter for Corgi - but there are some very 'pretty' schemes for 109 G's -

Really cant see Corgi's logic in bypassing the Emil in favour of a Gustav. Did have an order on Barkhorn's 109 but decided to bin it. Sorry Corgi, if a 109 is to grace my mantlepiece it'll have to be a yellow nose b-stard from the BoB.

Hi,

A yellow 14 ME-109F Hans-Joachim Marseille Desert scheme, perhaps the best pilot of WW2 (said by Adolf Galland and Erich Hartman)

It would be nice :)

Even though I can't afford 1:32's and haven't got the space (Going for the sympathy vote here!) . I would love to see a Marseille One as I'm always looking at the Models in the shops and licking the display cabinets as they look rather juicey: especially the 1:32 Mossie Grey and Green Camo one.
Not really licking the cabinets honest! :o

Naw... yerve got Corsair and Zero before then... follows the plastic releases... If it is going to continue, the next German wiill be an FW190

This was always the case with 1/72's back in th 60's, the only 109E was the Revell one, the cries were out there for Airfix to do an E, they never did til much later...

Have they done the Gustav before the Emil because its maybe easier to take the longer rounded wings off in a modified tooling than its is to add them later on?
(Waits to be pulled up on 109 knowledge by forum members)

This old thread seems to sum up the forum opinion regarding the 1/32 109...... way back in 2005.

Why did Corgi do a G instead of a E.

Lets have a Black 6

£70
