Would really like some unbiased constructive criticism (if any) on the Bader 1/32 Hurricane. Most photos I have seen of this model would indicate that the colours are not quite right, perhaps a little too bright green and baby poo brown?
Thanks for any input.

I've got the Bader Hurricane. The colours are much better than on the very first Hurricane, as good as PR-F in my 'umble opinion. What lets mine down a bit is that the markings are a tad glossy... all in all though a worthy addition to your collection.
Even better if you prise the pilot out and stand this chap in front of the kite!

Yes, IMHO I do think the colours are too bright and the wrong shades of green/brown. I bought a Bader version a few years ago and got rid of it shortly after. Had they used the 1/32 Unwin Spitfire colours then it would have been a great model (albeit the many comments about this mold in the past, i.e nose shape, printed machine gun covers, aerial wire etc).
But at the end of the day, it's personal taste and it may well be one for you...:-)

A pending purchase straight from evil-Bay poses the usual dilemma for me, buying sight unseen
So we've got two for, one against and me still undecided  hrrrrmmmmm.....

Buy one, then if you don't like it find and kill the blokes who talked you into it... simple innit?

Personally I like it The the colours look fine to me, and as for all the other things debated at somelength previously re the mould, none of them ever bothered me except the ridiculously flimsy aerial on them. I can cope with a little inaccuracy here and there but I can't stand fragility!! I don't exaggerate when I say that one gust of wind and the aerial will snap off!! In the last issue BBMF canon version they fixed this but all the earlier ones ibnc the Bader had it. A relatively easy repair that said but annoying.
Apart frpm that IMHO a good piece of diecast and impressive display piece next to the Spit! Fortunately I picked up my Hurricanes when they were dirt cheap, and I have to say I like them all. I'm not sure what kinda money they go for now though!
As the previous guy said it's all down to personal taste.

Personally,I think its ok,and its the only 1/32 Hurricane I've got.The only one better being the Sea Hurri impo.

I'd have one. Was reading through some of the old 1/32 Hurri threads at the weekend, certainly seemed the best of the big Hurricanes prior to the Sea Hurri and Night Reaper.

I like mine ( although I paid very little for it ). I don't think the colours are correct, and it has all the Corgi Hurricane issues - but to me it's one of those 'Wrong but I like it anyway' models. The only Corgi Hurri I prefer is the Shuttleworth one.
