No it's just Hasegawa extracting the urine, the new 1/32 hawk from Revell is only £18.99 and thats with a decal sheet designed and printed by Model Alliance plus paints, brushes and glue.

Hmm,

more expensive and it would look carp when I finished it, hence why I started buying die-cast in the first place.

Joking aside - those prices are on the steep side!

Well I'm pleased that I have the 1/48th Hasegawa Phantom FGR.2 and F-4E built, an F-4J and F-4F ICE (both 1/48th) boxed ready to roll, and two 1/72nd Fujimi FGR.2's one early and one late also boxed with all the aftermarket decals! :D

Those Hasegawa 1/48 Phantom kits are fetching some money these days, and actually 22 quid is not as bad as some place I've seen! Even the 1/72nd Fujimi FGR.2 kits weren't cheap as they're getting hard to come by these days.

I was interested to note in MZ on Saturday that the Hasegawa 1/72 Jeep kit was a whopping £10.99 (though still cheaper than HM's diecast.) On the same shelf was the 1/72 Academy 3 kit boxed set of Jeep, Kubelwagen and Kettenkraftrad for a much fairer £6.99. Even if they are not particularly accurate (I do not know) I will take the plunge on the set at a unit cost of £2.33 per vehicle. (and there were scale jerrycans and kit bundles included.)

Regards,

Jap.

Must have misread the price, as the 3 kit set was £6.25 (less than £2.09 per vehicle)
