Anyone ever attempted to relocate the prop on a Lanc? The retaining lug has popped off the stalk on the prop. No damage doen to either part, just leaves a loose prop. I'm debating whether I'm best just leaving well alone or attempting a repair... :unsure:

There is a thread on it somewhere but no idea where .:unsure:

Yep seen that one, thanks to No4mkit, but this one isn't the same, the shaft isn't broken as that one is, it's just loose :unsure: :wacko:

Blutac any use in the meantime?

Sounds silly but a prop broke off my Dambuster and not having time yet to attempt the repair as per the DAF thread i stuck it on with Blutac, looks perfect........and i pretend the outer starboard is feathered as i give the other 3 a spin:o

No need, like I said it's a weird one as it's still attatched, just loose and will pull out from the engine further than it should! It rattles so something is clearly adrift, but the prop shaft is intact.

It's not just the prop the entire nacelle rattles! Time to feather port inboard Skipper! :D


(Where's Sailor when you need him?! :rolleyes: :D )
