Err, bit of Eagle and Tomcat fan mate. :D

Interesting, I was only saying on the other forum the FM Tomcat is making a bit of a comeback and lads have been searching for them. Its a cracking model and oozes Gravitas.

Yes, yes, the CW is a blah blah blah. But it has no Gravitas, no ooomph. :p :LOL: And I own F14s from three different manufacturers.

Theres a *large* F-14 in desert colours in Modelzone in Norwich, reduced to (I think) £30. Been considering it.

But then Im a 1:72 man (reformed from 1:400 long ago), it wouldnt go with my collection.

That was the 1st franklin mint f14 tomcat i bought [theif of bagdad] from modelzone in july 2010 and that got the ball rolling for the franklin mint f14.
Come december 2010 i had 10 franklin mint f14 tomcat

grimreaper
black knights
jolly roger
sluggers [flir cat]
bedevilers
tomcatters
theif of bagdad
bounty hunters
nsawc
bicentennial.

Now i just need the 5 listed in orginal post and the wolfpack[ 1 i forgot] to
complete the collection. Not a fan of the stars and stripes 1 tho, but if came across 1 at a good price i wouldnt say no.

If ya gotta collect them then its more than one. Except in one case, if you specifically like collecting one Naval Squadron such as VF 101 (I just had to pick a SQN that did not have a skull and crossbones ;) ), then ya can collect them in any scale.
