Here's the very easy to make Tamiya 1/48 kit of the P-51B/C Mustang. I have always loved Tex Hill's machine and this kit was fun to research. The kit took two weeks to build in 2002.

As with all my models, everything is brush painted. A full kit review will be posted once the file is recovered off an archived computer.

Hard to believe this finely-weathered finish is brush painted! Well done, Ara. :D Tell us more about your weathering techniques, if you'd be so kind. And nice underwing recognition lights. Corgi doesn't always get this detail right in regards to color and sequence.

And there's a story behind those stands I'm sure we'd all like to hear. :)

Thanks Bob. Maybe you can understand when I tell you I bought a bottle of orange paint to just paint that one lamp... For just one microliter drop.

Ha! Modelers....
