... under the tailplane of a Dauntless for example?

I received my Ace Pilot Series Dauntless 6 - Baker - 1 of Lt. Best today and find it to be a great model, even better than the Hobbymaster Dauntlesses IMHO.
the only thing that annoys me is that ugly CORGI stamp under the starboard tailplane.
is there a way to get rid of that?
is it padded on so Í can get it away using nail polish remover or do it need stronger stuff?
and will this remove the camo as well?

A bit of acetone free should do the trick,dont blame me if it goes wrong though:D

You do know that this one was produced by Hobby Master. Same tooling as the the HM Dauntless models as well.:)

hello!

yes I do know that this is the same tooling; its the camo that looks better IMHO.
the panel lines do not look that pronounced like they do on the HM VS-42 Dauntless I also own;
the only thingie I do not like is that annoying CORGI stamp and the small bombs under the wings which were not carried by Lt. Best on his epic mission at Midway.
the latter I can remove quite easily, it´s that stamp that I hope to get rid of without damaging the camo :)

Send them to Prune for a repaint....:LOL:
