In view of a recent well-known model release, I think we should mention that 14th March was the 60th Anniversary of the first dropping in anger of the 22,000lb Grand Slam - at the Bielefeld Viaduct -

I believe that Grand Slam remains the heaviest air-dropped weapon ever ? ( That's 'real' weight, not kilotons )

this was totally rebuilt wasnt it, i think theres an after the battle feature on it in one of their mags ?

tis true, look at the first world war battlefields, whod have though so much death and destruction took place over those green fields and farmland, that documentry i saw on tracing wilfred owens steps was really good.
