Gary, I would have thought the Lakenheath F-111 would have been a must for the UK market?

I was not going to bother anymore as I have 3 but might be tempted by this , the prices seem to be rising every release . Sure I paid £ 45 for the first one , £ 50 for the next and £ 55 for the Raven , £ 70 for this one ( £ 60 ish with a pre-order discount , is it a low run ? ) .

Strikemaster and Austin Tilly for me, even though £26.99 for the Tilly seems a bit steep!

I really want that LN F-111, from memory this is "Miss Liberty" that now resides in the NMUSAF at Wright-Pat, Dayton Ohio

But at 70 squid these are getting harder to justify :o

Totally agree,I do like the F-111,it is a big plane and model but the price is getting silly. However saying that i do still want this one. Also i would take the Royal Navy Phantom and the Strike Master from these new offerings.:D

Surprised that the LN `111` hasn`t attracted more interest on here...

Perhaps it should have had `UH` on the tail instead.....

PERHAPS THEY THINK ITS GOING TO BE BASED ON THE AIRFRAME IN THE MUSEUM AND NOT THE OPERATIONAL MISS LIBERTY OR IS MISS LIBERTY 2 ROUND THE CORNER.
cant understand why collecter chappie posts info for his site nearly a day after everyone know's?

I am excited about the EF-111F 1991.

I hope HM will make a darn good updated version of the "HP0006 US Modern Pilots Set £8.50". Because I need a huge number of those, if they are highly updated of course.

Yep......it's just like when (other) folks complained about Corgi's RRP when HM were cheaper.....surely hardly anyone pay RRP? At least the parity has stopped the complaints about the price differentials between the makers.....they are all now equally expensive!

Unfortunately, yet again another couple of months with nothing on the list for me....looks like I'm heading for another HM-less year......

Though my point was more about what seems to have been a very rapid increase , though I am going fro memory on the above prices paid . I guesstimated the pre-order discount and it seems like a 30% increase from first release .

Although 5 different marks, inc. 2 x RAAF, 1 x EW variant, 1970's, 80's and 90's periods covered. Assume that the Aussie and US based releases were imported in low numbers for the UK

the model is 1/48 and if you think its expensive go buy a white metal kit or buy the Tamiya pre-built I think theirs is over £50.00

It's only in line with the price increases of bl*ody petrol... and as Gary was explaining somewhere else, as the run numbers come down on each of the subjects, (it seems to be about 40/50% from the 0001 subject), as they are doing, then the individual unit cost goes up...

Personally think that all manus have upped their game in the last coupla years which is a good thing..:) and the more the cost goes up, the less problematic the question of space becomes..
