Right.... Following on from Sailors posting about the exchange of "Spitfire". Ive managed and can copy from disc to disc, but anyone know of any good editing software to remove the first five minutes of adverts and also the adverts during the hour..... :)

The copying software I use does remove any region coding also... :)

DVD clone and AnyDVD seem to work well - Allegedly.....AnyDVD lets you specify removal of the intro cr@p

Guys,

Just got a V+ box and when I can get oin there between Mrs CFBC recoding everything possible I have a couple of history channel programmes I have recorded.

Now, I have noticed that there is a Cat5 lead plug and also a USB connector on the boack which the Virgin intruction book says nothing about! (Suprise, suprise).

Anyway, my question is. Can you connect a Cat5 or USB card to pull off the recodings and move them to my PC or has anyone transferred from a V= box to a DVD as that is a menu option?

Cheers

According to these guys they are disabled.

As the post said it needs to be enabled by the firmware.

Thanks Pilgrim,

That is a shame, but I bet I am not the first to see them and won't be the last.... :D
