Also noticed Canberras for £20!!

:( MR.RL,

Was it new or secondhand ??.........

That aside there are some dealers whose tax year is rapidly coming to an end and will sell at virtually any price !! Same applies to Corgi and the evidence is starting to show through!! Only problem is the ones you want are like as not no longer there or in some cases you will be thinking they may come cheaper still. Damned if you do and likewise if you don't !! ;) If its something you do not really want whats it matter but I would refer you and others to my previous posts on this subject and respectfully suggest you consider the long term implications for the value of your own collections before telling everyone how cheaply they can be obtained!!...... :)

I spoke to a chap only yesterday who had suffered the misfortune of having lost many models in a burglary and left wondering why the insurance company refusing to pay out on the value !! Question is what value ???.....

At thee end of the day you makes yer choice and pays yer money !!......... ;)

Other stuff noted, Couple of older AA, Falklands sea king £22, RAE Tornado £18, and most of the F4`s for £18. Newer stuff Mildenhall wellington £27-50, Got offered the 1/32 Me109 and Spit with the figures for £35 each, stall holder saying he can`t shift them. Chinook with load was £19-75, all three metors where £16 each.Braniff 707 £5 and a coup[le of B52`s at £12-50 each. First Jag was £20 and the latest 16sqn was £29 (£24 too much).
Picked up a pair of B-24`s the CC and the battenburg one for a good price ;)
Also the hartmann 1/32 Me109 was around £29 and the Big 6 109 was £22.
Didn`t seem to be to much stuff moving except for the cheapo stuff. Nimrod and MC-130 set still holding there own at around £40. Couple of CDC 1/48 F-14`s going for £20 each, the VF31 and the VF111 ones. Silver USAF canberra £25.Bit o lace B17 still £55. Not the best show, but only 25 miles down the road, only 3 "only aircraft stalls"

Hi,
Sorry David , the battenburg one is AA34007 B-24D "You Cawn't Miss It" .You are right I normaly stick to jets, but at these prices,£16-50 for YCMI, I thought they would go well with my Lanc and RAF B25. Looking at what the hound has done the last year on the Jag, Metor and Chinnok, nimrod, etc I think the RAF B25 and the CC B24 are streets ahead of them.

Hes saving all his money for Huntingdon so as he can grab all the bargains away from Agent..

At those sort of prices, that Libby has got be a contender for a repaint jobbie.. If I see a Braniff at a fiver at Huntingdon, it will definitely be bought.. early X20Air livery I think.... :D

Funny how this seems to ba a particular trait of the pooch.. I have been at home this weekend and if there were any cheap civvies on the Bay,, I missed them...

Hi Bob, It wasn`t me with the piece of paper, just the mobile glued to my ear, with she who must be obeyed on the other end, checking I wasn`t buying too much !! ;) I would have got the two 1/32`s with the figures,at £35 each but I think they will go alot lower yet, in the next few weeks at NEC etc

I would have got the two 1/32`s with the figures,at £35 each but I think they will go alot lower yet, in the next few weeks at NEC etc Think that depends on whether you are going to see a secondary dump... IMHO they are good subjects... they should sell at £35.... I would suggest a purchase especially if its a must have.. :D

Went today as son no:2 wanted some collectors cards.
What a turn up, as four major purveyors of Corgi flying goods present.
Didn't buy anything as not my scene now, but was tempted by the showcase Red Arrows 9 set at a low price of £14.50 (less than £1.50 per plane) from a certain Norfolk trader. Noted Barkhorn 1/32nd Me109 at £30, Various legends £5, Black RB57 £19, others much the same as elsewhere.
Generally prices otherwise holding up a bit. Don't think much was selling though.
Noticeably less produce at the dumpsters. Are Corgi shooting themselves in the foot here, with this policy??

One other Item tempted by is for de-mobbed collectors only.
Oxford Diecst set of three Airline vans in 1/43rd? to match Corgis.
Comprised of a Caledonian Morris Minor Van, Dan Air Morris Minor Van and a sweet little BEA Mini Van. Nice at £11 if a bit lower quality than Corgis offerings. One to get.:)
