Stunning. I'm not really a Dambusters nutter but that's a superb print, full of action and atmosphere  . Who's the artist?

 :cool
i fear for you now scott, its just the same as collecting diecast, addictive.
Great print to start out on mate.i tend to not frame mine straight away, i have them flattend and mounted on board as i like to get a few more sigs, and keeping them rolled dont do them much good over time. then when i feel there is enough on il then take it to my local framing shop, pick the mount or mounts and then the frame.if there is no one local to you who does it i can recommend a place in yorks.

Get it out of the tube as soon as you can.....never store it long therm in the tube. Framing the print will normally devalue the print.... but poor framing will ruin the print.

When you get it framed, don't get it stuck to a board.......print becomes worthless if you do  Do NOT have the print cut down, if you want it to hold its value.

A good framer will normally hang the print from the backing card with a couple of small bits of acid free tape............. not a great big length of masking tape  The best you can get is live photo corner pockets, the print is not marked in any way.....but the framing price goes up.

The backing card and mount should be acid free.....most good framers will do this, but make sure you ask for it. Always have a mount, do not have the print against the glass.......the print will get marked.

The backing board should be sealed to the frame with a good quality paper type seal. Masking tape is used on budget jobs, but its not worth the saving and starts to go brittle......before long it comes away, and insects and dust get inside the frame.

The modern prints have light fast inks, so special UV glass is not essential, unless the print is going to be displayed in an area that gets a lot of sun light. The price of UV glass for this print would be about £80, compared with £20 for normal. Probably cheaper to buy a second copy and store it, if you want to keep it mint for the future.

I would estimate you will pay £80 to £100 to have it framed well, with normal glass. :)

It sure does......I have paid up to £155 to get a print framed

Opening shots in a very nice looking print...... needs a good frame to show it off at its best :)
