Many things would - eh !! At leaast IMHO that's where Corgi DO have the advantage over the Gemini Herc's and for that matter 707s.. :D

I find now that I have a few 1/400ths, I consider this scale fine for larger subjects, eg 747, 777, Galaxy, Tristar, DC10. Anything 707/DC8 size best in 200th/250th and B737/DC6/Viscount size best in 144th. i.e. models approximately a similar size. Goes against my principle love of 144th et al. but realise it just aint gonna happen. Cute as the connies/elactras/dc6s are in 400th it is just to small.

Gooneybird, you're spot on there ! thats what started me off on the AA's, the 1/144 scale is just right for the early airliners which dont 'float my boat' in 1/400 but have again been tempted to venture in to the smaller scale for 747's..

Got my GJ American Airlines DC-6 at the Heathrow Enthusiasts Fair. Noted a couple of errors - should have orange elevators, but not orange prop spinners....tut, tut, Gemini!
