Having commented elsewhere that the HM 1/144 Ju52 is one of my favourite releases of recent years I am wondering a) whether we will see a range of military liveried examples released and b) how much demand there would be for them.
The idea has got me reasonably excited as, for me the diecast rot set in during 1998 with the American Airlines DC3 and I have now got just about all of them. I like the idea of doing the same with HM Ju52s and a nice mix of military and civil will grace my Detolfs quite nicely, particularly winter camo versions.

Hi Sergei
I will make certain HM reads this post. Thanks for the suggestion. If you have any others please email William at williamliu@hobbymaster.com.hk or me hawkonevoodoo@yahoo.ca Preferably William because he is the person that makes the decisions about what does or doesn't get produced.
Thanks again.

+1 on military liveried Iron Annies -- that's what I'm waiting on. How about an Operation Mercury / Crete invasion jobbie to start off? :)

Thanks for that Hawkonevoodoo. In my view the smaller and therefore less expensive models lend themselves to a variety of liveries which work well as a collection. The Ju52 falls squarely into this category and given the number of theatres in which it saw action there is scope for a number of interesting finishes.
My breath is bated.

Having investigated who has operated Ju52s/CASA 352s in the past I was staggered by the sheer number of both airforces and airlines.
With regard to military versions I would welcome the following:-
Spanish Civil War Condor
Norwegian campaign
Crete
Eastern front
Minesweeper
Floatplane
plus Where Eagles Dare!!
and that's before we've looked at non-German operators.

I haven't bought any of HM's Ju 52s yet as they are all overly 'civilian' looking so far. (Not sure of HM's strategy ...  .)
I would seriously consider buying ALL of those recommended by Sergei in the list he posted:
"Norwegian campaign
Crete

My best Ju-52 so far remains the Franklin Mint 1/48 Crete version :cool.
