Charley - also had a very nice e mail from Martin Claydon, who produces the site giving details of the Friends of Duxford and the areas it allows you to visit. I think one membership is winging it's way to Scunny - I fancy the chance of getting in to the B52, B17 etc!

Yeah I have never done any of the photo shots as they always fall in the weeks I am at work - I have however attended a number of the Special Interest days, which usually are on Saturday - In fact the last one a couple of weeks ago I got to Duxford early at 9.15am, and you get let in via the staff entrance, it was absolutely brilliant being able to walk around before Joe Public got let in at 10.00, there were about three if us had the whole of Duxford to ourselves :D

Must say the discount on the Airshow and Shop virtually pays for the membership, and now they have thrown in discount in the Restaurant as well - personally I think really great value.....
