Here's a dumb question. If Corgi makes a Viscount, Comet, and Britannia, why don't they make a VC10? Aren't they British? :(

And what about a Viking? An Ambassador? Why all the Yank types when we don't have all the Brit planes?

Yes they are American owned, that is why there is a predominance of US types.
For instance, Lancaster and now Wellington, why no Halifax and Stirling, but we have Fortress and Liberator. :o

I'm confused goonybird. The Corgi website says Zindart Limited is the parent company. They're in Hong Kong, and have a website. http://www.zindart.com/

It seems they do a lot more than just Corgi die casts. Don't know that they are owned by Americans. I gather the US branch is just that. Am I wrong?

Do the Yanks know what a VC10 or Valiant are? Does this mean we'll not see them ever?

Careful V3, one of the biggest campaigners for the other 2 V's is our adopted Anglophile Bob the Yank. Please don't measure all of the colonials the same.:D :D :D

No offence to the Yanks intended I hope none was taken. :D The Americans at Offutt AFB were all very nice and I was heartened that they thought the Vulcan was special. Whose bob trhe Yank?

Bob is one of our favourite 'Yanks' as he can write very well, makes awesome models and fly's helicopters!! He also has a very good sense of humour. Blast, I can't believe he is an American! :D :D :D

I find one of the best features of this forum is the overseas contingent. From New Zealand, Australia, Europe and America (plus other far flung places) it really helps to get a global view on the forum!
