Give us a 1/48 Hurricane MK 1 esp as i`d like to see a really correct tail wheel fitted, been waiting for a while for a decent diecast with a good looking tail wheel, all 1/72 scales are so disappointing!

I echo the plea HC, and it would be really great if they did a 303 Squadron version from the BoB.

FM Hurricanes are pretty good, in my view. If you dont mind them parked in dispersal. ;)

Now if HM released some MC 202 Folgore and MC 205V Veltro then I would get very very excited indeed.

However until HM fix their mottling issues I really dont see any point. :( As the Italian WW2 fighters have some wonderful schemes for the MTO. But a robust mottling method is required.

Also its been around the forums for quite a while that HM are likely to release the 1:48 Hurricane next year. :D

Looks like the Aces will be getting a decent sized track again to rival the old Hyde Road Stadium judging by the footy pitch on the infield :cool :) I'm a long standing Peterborough Panthers fan (went to there very first meeting with my Dad) so am a fan of the big fast tracks, so was sad to see the demolition of the old stadium and the move to the tiny Kirkmanshulme Lane track.

That will be a big track, Swindon looked at a similar idea but with stands at the end that rolled over the track for the football. Isn't there a dog track at belle vue as well? Also, my Dad rode for Peterbrough in the late 60's early 70's! (oops, sorry, he only made 1 appearance in the full team in 1972).

Back on topic, I can't wait for a HM Hurricane, will sit nicely with the Spit's and Fury!

Very likely i saw him ride Wolster if it was a home meeting, i was only 6 at the time but my Dad took me to lots of home meetings from there first year in 1970 up to the early 1980's.

I take it your Dad is Mr Ralph Waller and can be found under number 14 in the list of 1972 riders, 3 points from 4 rides on a debut match ain't bad going :)

Yes, that's him, good spot! It was actually Cradley Heath he rode for mostly but his senior career was very short due to injury. They had a bigger incentive in those days, no sponsorship and no points meant no money!
