Well if they have done the speys, how about a Trident... :D

Suppose it would make sense as they seem to have this AWACS bent at the moment.. gawd knows how many are that keen.. even at £24 the AWACS were firmly sitting on the dealers shelves....batteries included.. :D .

Nice one, it's about time someone did a vomit comet! So will we see the nice current smart grey scheme, or that real yucky "hemp" colour?

It was confirmed yesturday to me that the Nimrod is a definate. Haven't been told which scheme yet but hopefully should find out by the end of the week.

Think they grey scheme would be really nice but I have a feeling that it will be the hemp scheme!!!!

I may be wrong but I think that the current AWACS is not too popular due to being a USAF one. There seems to be alot more interest in the RAF one which I believe is due for release soon. Was abit like the black USAF RB-57 didn't seem as popular as the RAF Canberra.

There is that Mr Marky and a shame too as the black B57 IMHO is a darn site nicer than the invasion striped Canberra..

Sorry but if you have 200 people that want to buy an RAF AWACS thats most probably 100 too many.. and the interest is there as it aint happened yet.. but when it does the quantities they produce and the fact that they will want shot of all of them, it will be straight to dump bins IMHO..:D

Well hopefully if Corgi stick to what people have said they are going to do then hopefully it won't be in any dump bins until after Christmas if there is any left!!! (Optomistic!)

Mark,
Do you know whether this is in the next catalogue, or is it the new 1/144 that Albert's told us is due in 2006?
