Hi there

For some reason these have taken a bashing with the perfectionists, but personally I think it is a great model and have two RAF versions, aswell as a British Airways and a BOAC model too

I like them all !!!:)

The pink one is unfortunately missing the tanker fairing under the tail so isn't great accuracy wise. The grey one is defiantely the best. Not perfect, but I do like mine :)

Deffo screw loose... 99 bucks from the airborne ass..

If it had oval windows and it lost the disco blue cockpit which needs to be tidied up then it would have legs...

Nope definately give that a miss the cockpit looks awful on it. The one I like (and indeed the only one I have) is the grey one, 101 Sqn, RAF Brize Norton 2007 (I think). A bit dearer than the others, but there's a reason for that ;)

can you elaborate further o that mate?, the grey one you say you like is a bit more money, and maybe as you say rightly so, however the scheme does not shout 'buy me' , im ver drawn to the falklands colour scheme:wacko:

On the first one they decided to try and fit a cockpit with glazing, the result is a whacking great join line around the windows and cockpit windows that were massively overscale. As for the grey one it's appeal for me is twofold, firstly it's the most accurate and secondly it's current (and much like the one I flew on). horses for courses, depends on your priorities :)

o god....decisions decisions......but il follow my heart and not the crowd,

thats what makes us individuals i suppose, would be a boring forum if we all had the same models in the cabinet

I only have one - the Falklands one, and it is one of my favourite models. It has been on permanent display since I got hold of it and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future.
