Just a reminder about one of the UK's biggest aviation enthusiast's fairs next Sunday, 17th April- the Gatwick Aviation Enthusiasts Fair at Crawley Leisure Centre, starting at 1000. There will be lots of diecast models there.
Love to chat to anyone from the Forum. ;) Just don't ask me what's coming out next year
Reference removed which is against Forum T&C's. Thank you
Mr Orange :)

Is this better than the Feltham one near Heathrow? I travelled down from Newcastle to go to this enthusiasts fair last year and was very disappointed.
Thought it was more like a car boot sale / jumble sale!!!
Do people really pay for airline sick bags / inflight menu's?????
Wasn't too impressed with the one in Manchester either! Too much cramped into a little room in the terminal..

LGW05 is in a huge sports hall at Crawley Leisure Centre. Much better than Feltham. Last year, took me all day to walk round, but trouble is I meet too many people that know me and half the day was taken up talking!

Hope to be there Albert, agree one of the best venues around for Enthusiast Fairs, blooming busy and cramped when it comes to Toy Fairs though.

I'll be down there, but working (illegedly)! :D I'm thinking about starting a collection of airline plastic cutlery and toilet rolls, so could be a great place to start off my new collection eh?! ;) :D :D

Yeah,
Brief visit, only bought the One Corgi the French Corsair, think Albert may have had a stall  , Big Mossies at 60 squids eh ... Also saw me first 1/200 B747 in Eastern Colours, quite impressive as is the 1/200 Ecautoriana B707.
Seemed to be less stalls and certainly less people between 10.45 and 11.15, price was up for admission at 3 quid, still it is a good venue.
The usual Corgi/Gemini boys were there ( Bob and Geoff ) and a couple of others doing 1/400 including Mach III, pity they only do one avaition fair here each year.
Anyone else go ??
