74 Sqn reformed in 1935 whilst en route to Malta as part of government plans to strengthen the country's presence in the Mediterranean in the light of Mussolini's rise in Italy and the flexing of his muscles in Abyssinia.
Prior to sailing for Malta the aircraft and personell were only known as Demon flight.
I`m looking forward to the low vis markings on this one. Here`s where I`m at.

Demon update.
The camo scheme of the 74 Sqn Demons while on a war footing on Malta is debatable, (some suggesting a 3 tone scheme), but I`ve gone with the standard scheme of the day as this seems to fall more in line with the B&W pictures I have of the aircraft in Malta.

Got this one finished now, other than the rigging which is on order. As mentioned the roundal positions on the sides are subjective, but have been confirmed to exist on some aircraft. Will wait for the weekend for some better photos and my next project is a good old fashioned whif....., well, kinda..!;)

Very nice TC. The ribbing on the rear fuselage looks much better on the kit than it does on the diecast Fury or Hart.

Thanks DC. The ribbing details does look better on the plastic kits. May be a mould thing on the diecast..??
Obviously my builds are far from perfect, but once placed behind the glass in the cabinet, they don`t look to bad at all.
