Well, I have done it now guys..... Ive gone and acquired a Connie and as such it has just dropped through the postal system to me.... (Not litrally), but it looks fine and dandy, but lonely...... Opps, What have I done....... :confused:

It's difficult to feel sorry for you when we cognoscenti have the same affliction. ;)

I have the Eastern Airlines Connie, the Braniff bird, the flashy (chrome) TWA Constellation, and the USAF MATS C-121 version. I like 'em all and wish I had room for more. But you can only stuff so many Aviation Archive models in the display case before Mrs. BSteinIPMS takes notice...... :eek:

Since you are now amongst the enlightened, here are three recommended books to expand your base of knowledge of the Constellation which will serve to enhance your Connie-collecting experience. :D

I know Stealth, I AM SO sorry..... Ive just had a good look at it and it does look ok for a civil..... I may be tempted further now......

No offence BS, but if I start buying books also, MRS CFBC is GOING to kill me!!! It's bad enough having g*dknows how many AA boxes, Dragon and Armour boxes around, nevermind books too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need HELP..... What have I started......

The classic early TWA? The beautiful BOAC, or Air France? The USN ..
... them's my particular favourites ....one of those?

Oh, Mr Defiant Man - Thats not nice at all.... I was hoping for more of a 1:1 scale at sometime, but if your not going to help in anyway.....

Managed to pick-up the 47507, Eastern Airlines.......

Quite nice. What/which others should I look out for?

White top TWA.Connie. under £25 a bargain... £25- £35 okay but getting dear.. £35 - £50 expensive, £50 plus ripster... IMHO..

Air France is a good un for twenty notes.....#

Jolly good..... into my secondary collection..!! Be even nicer if theres a VC10 or at least a new casting... anychance of that.. ( a new casting..)
