View Full Version : Flight Miniatures
these are 'snap together' rather than diecast - anyone seen them in the flesh as this Dc4 looks good, also quite fancy the BOAC 1/200 B747

I suppose they are like the Plastic snap together jobbies that you can pick up on flights on airlines? Not my cup of tea, but the range is fantastic!
not the sort of thing i'd normally go for but they look quite substantial for plastic.. next time I take a trip down south or to a toyfair i'll have to keep a look out for 'em..
have been looking at Herpa 1/200 range, and there doesnt seem much price difference between their (metal) diecast range and the 'plastic' range?? are the Herpa plastic ones 'snap together' I wonder, or 'moulded' plastic?

The Herpa plastic range are moulded and ready to taxi. Only problem with them are the plastic wheels which loose their black paint after a few take offs and landings. My favourites are the bmi 737 and the Delta 777 both of which are very nicely done
