I have just noticed that Airfix are about to release an injection moulded BAC TSR2 in 1/72, this is the sort or new that could drag me back to plastics.

already on hannants there are decal sets available to do loads of what might have been schemes... 617 , rasberry ripple, cammo etc etc .. these have been no1 in their top 10 even before the release of the model.
should be a fantastic model. pity i spent weeks building a vac form contrail or similar one some years ago.. and it came out crap

The decal set has actually sold out, and they have had to order more! :D Toruble is what are we going to use for wing stores, as the original never flew with wing pylons. So far as I'm aware, the project never got far enough to produce any either, so modellers license is going to be in abundance!

Scuse me for being pig ignorant , but how big is a TSR2 model in 1/72.. am sure there are some anoraky chappies out there that have it down to the nearest gnats gonad....
Too much Jacobs tonite... apologies.. :D <hic>
( If Corgi had been really cute, they could have had that one out... 144 or 72... the sentiment against that _________ Healey... well I'll never vote for him... but naturally the pooch was fast akip ( asleep) as is his want)
