Everyone get their new Flight Recorder, issue 27? Mine came in the mail today and it looks very nice. Came polybagged with the new catalog(ue) which, although it's the UK version, is easily the best Corgi catalogue ever, in my opinion, that is.
As an added bonus, we are given a glimpse of Agent X20 in his fire engine red shorts sitting astride a bus on page 60! :D

I also notice a good mention of Merlins Over Malta and this very Forum and website. :)
Well done chaps. Can I ask how much that cost you? :D

I agree with you, although I would have prefered that they make the rest of the catalogue with either a history of the archive or a reference for all models and which are out of production.

Yeah mine come through the post the other day and was actually getting more enjoyment at looking at the old motors like the Austin All - Agro! ,the hideous Princess and the Hillman Imp. How those made me laugh. :D
Mind you though the Mk1 Escort looks the biz...

The latest Flight Recorder arrived yesterday......
Apparently the Gladiator was voted Model Collector Magazine of the Year 2006.....my choice would have been the Swordfish.
Decent article on the Typhoon. The Captured Stuka Club Model is yet again delayed with no pics or price.....If your interested, they've got 50 of the CHC CHinny to flog at £49.99 inc P&P......
Confirmation of the "deferred models" (as announced), quote "at time of going to press, are subject to being dropped, but one or two may yet be reprieved".
Finally, an invite to join the Corgi Classics Collectors Cub USA for $20....and get your free bling P-51.....

I haven't received my flight recorder yet, but do they state how much you will have to pay on postage for your free gift?

Was reading the model profile on the ' Night Reaper ' and found this kinda :D , and I qoute " Longstanding Aviation Archive Club members will recall that this aircraft in its unusual civilian colours as G-AMAU comprised our Limited Edition Club exclusive model in 2004 under reference AA32005 . It was quickly SOLD OUT . "  I though there were still a couple left ?? :D

Latest Flight Recorder, which arrived today, has a piece on the Bomber Command Day and mentions the "Diecast Aviation Website" (no individual names) and has a pic of Wilfred Tunstall & his wife with (I presume) the chap from Corgi...
The Club Model (the captured Typhoon) is limited to 700......
