Not really my sort of thing, but vintage civils people might be interested to know that TFC at Duxford have just acquired a Beech 17 Staggerwing : -

Actually built as a military aircraft for the USN. I saw her at North Weald a few years back. A top speed of 200 mph is pretty good for a bi-plane.

Mmmm wonder if a swap has taken place, that Staggerwing was Peter Teichman's. They say that the P-40 is "residing" with Peter, but I wonder if he now owns the P-40, if so it means he's becoming a larger player in the UK warbird scene as he already owns P-51D "Jumpin Jacques" and Spitfire PR XI.
Wouldn't be the first time this has happened, the TFC's Hurricane was swapped for the HAC Hawker Nimrod a couple of years ago.

much as I love that Beech, it doesnt seem to fit in with the TFC fleet, unless they're going to use it as a 'hack'... I'd guess that it'll be used as a trade for something more in their line.. ?? Hangar 11 havent been so quick to update their website..! :D http://www.hangar11.co.uk/
