Has anyone acquired one of these yet? What do they think of it and the ground crew? :)

Checked it out the other week but opted for Old Crow with crew which IMHO was the better of the 2.
Take the figures which have improved i must admit,it looks a bit plain.

No, not yet DC.. Possibly give it a few more months and see. :) Thanks Aces, have already acquired the Old Crow which I believe will have the certfiiacte removed and reduced very soon too, but wondered if anyone had the Elder and what it was like compared to JJ etc... :)

Looks pretty non-descript, surely they could have chosen a more vibrant scheme than that!
Do like the ground crew though. ;)

Elder's next on my shopping list S/C and especially for that - Nice one! What do you think? Nice? :)

I have got to say that the old crow with ground crew is next on my list for the big muzzie's as I have the first four and this is the next in line. Elder is nice but seeing the picture of old crow on CHC's website makes it look quite stunning and one to get so it can sit next to my all green old crow and of course with my Corgi 1/72nd scale one, it will be like the complete set.

It's a simple colour scheme CFBC as you know mate, but it work's. I don't rate it as highly as BBD or the US Old Crow but it's a nice addition. Love the Swastika's that line the canopy!
Greycap leader, you can't go wrong with the US old Crow, some good deals on evilbay at the moment! :)

Picked up one off "the Bay" for £46.00 which is a tad more than I wanted to pay but having got the Barkhorn ME and Unwin Spit did not want to risk not being able to pick OC up at a Fair. Sods law now dictates that I will now see all three cheaper!

I think I will wait until it drops abit more as there are some others I need to pick up and what with the Brentwood toyfair coming up, I need to save the bees.

Based upn what has been discounted and reduced in value with stickers on, then it won't be long before we see them.... Hopefully without stickers first!

Well I have had my Elders 1/35 for about 3 mounths now. Tonight I put it in the loft. I have all the other 1/35 mustangs on display, and this is the one I chose to make some room with.
I chose it because a) It cannot be put in the flying mode as it has no pilot and b) It does not look very eye catching when in the wheels down.
One of the best looking Mustangs when mounted on its stand is Stinger  I was surprised just how good it looks. It has a feel of speed about it

Now that's one I've never really been too bothered about DC. I think it's because I mainly collect WW2 Europe models.
My Elders Mustang may be heading off to the loft soon aswell for a short spell. Will be getting all my Lancs back on display. :)

Have a play with the John Elder I stumbled over and had to check it was ok and in working order!
Ok, the ground crew stayed in their box as it'a bit cold outside, but the Mustang had to come out to play! Here are a few pics...:D

For some reason this one didn't set my pulse racing - much preferred 'BBD' and both 'Old Crows'......

Yep this one seems to show up the lack of detail a model at this scale should have.
