Well finally got the cameras out and went outside, get some decent lighting and had a play..

These were bought of the Bay sometime ago and have only just gotten around to taking a photo or two.

These are wooden and very light... they are also way out of my price bracket as they want about $299 for each of these..

In some ways they are very crude, the flaps are mere black lines on the wing, then you impail yourself on a couple of probes on the SAA 747's nose.. the BA 747 is festooned with wire spikes on the wingtip.

but overall they are very scrummy.. just do not have the weight of an Inflight...

So theres a BA 747 Cargo.. An SAA 747-SP and a UAE 747-SP ...

Thanks...One day I will have to spend some serious money on a camera and lighting.... but shooting in daylight helps and Micrographx Picture Publisher 7 (thats a free one - think they are up to about edition 12 now..)

Anyway... just to show how much of it is photo and how much is compooter... a before and after shot.. and the forum dont let you post silly sized piccies so its a delicate balance, most of these are about 25 KB

Also thing to remember is that 1/200 is a hell of a lot smaller than 1/72...

Hey ho.. done nothing else today... and its nearly 2 pm..

No tarmac, ground crew or vehicles Agent? :D

Good shots... I agree, outside on a good day is great for photographs, but a grey day like today and I see what you mean. Also get that... PSP9 for me! :)

Actually today not to bad cos the light is diffused... too much sunshine and you get too many shadows, reflections etc etc...

What I need is some lighting somewhere to shoot em..and to spend hundreds on a camera.. :D

Aint as sophisticated as having a tripod... all hand held... at 1/30/60/125th and max on the f stop.. Agent on a limited budjet..

Also I am stuck on Picture Publisher 7... I can use that.. some of this other 'pro' stuff I dont know where to start...
