With everyone collecting everything from 1/32nd to 1/500th, look at the detail and say what scale you think this is and who makes it? Perhaps a 1/48th scale Monogram plastic kit?

Well it looks like the runway Gemini sell for the 1/400th Civils, so I would guess 1/400th Scale............

You know how to treat Mrs Ross then.. Ratners... or is it Argos...??..
Inflights are quite reasonable, they are not exoensive at all... you really have lost the plot..
Pound for pound I think they compare quite well with hound military stuff..
Okay yer gotta ferret about a bit to get good prices..
Now lets talk about prices... three figures for a mass produced 1/144 VC10..?... now that is expensive..
I'll give you three figures for an Inflight 747...
This one was about £65...... for the plebs its about the same size as a Pooch 1/72 Lancaster... and they have only made 240 of these... and its solid diecast.. with a plastic coating..

You're perfectly right of course.. £65 way too much....
