Matchbox 1/32nd Bf109E

I posted a couple of pics of this on the 1/32nd Corgi Bf109 thread, but thought I'd take some more with the Tamya ground crew and post them in a more approprate place! The figures had a new lease of life with my new Corgi Bf109G-6, but this kit was the original reason for their purchase.

I made the Matchbox Bf109E many years ago, and it's already had one restoration job when it was remarked into JG1 markings. Sadly it's been rather neglected once more with display space given over to diecast, and this model being stored in the shed. Horrible green mould has now grown under the decals which is not easily seen in the pics, very visible to the naked eye! I'm currently deciding whether to write it off, or try another restoration as I have some JG51 decals available in my spares box. The only problem is the panel lines were almost obliterated in the last restoration, so another could remove them altogether. :unsure:

Looks superb planejunky!! Definitely deserves a fresh set of decs (or whatever you think it needs)
